Each episode of The Extraordinary Acts For Others Podcast will feature an Extraordinary American whose extraordinary acts for others that are making their communities and America more extraordinary.
What makes someone extraordinary?
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the EXTRA. With that in mind, we define Extraordinary Acts For Others as ordinary service with extra SPIRIT. Our guests are Extraordinary people who do the extra in service to their communities and our country as seen in their extraordinary volunteer work, extraordinary professional work, extraordinary community work, and/or their extraordinary circumstances. Truly extraordinary people live with S.P.I.R.I.T. in service to other people.
What does it mean to live with S.P.I.R.I.T.
In our organization we strive to live with S.P.I.R.I.T. (Stouthearted Patriotism, Industriousness, Relationships, Idealism, & Thankfulness).
STOUTHEARTED PATRIOTISM is a bold love of country seen in our commitment to each other and a commitment to patriotic action that makes our country more extraordinary.
INDUSTRIOUSNESS is based on the idea that service to others is the "Hard work of freedom" and spirited people diligently commit themselves to that patriotic work. Positive contribution to a cause bigger than ourselves is important to our well-being and life satisfaction.
RELATIONSHIPS is anchored on the fact that commUNITY is people centered and spirited people do extraordinary acts for each other to spark connection and unity, and build friendship and comradeship.
IDEALISM spirited people believe America is extraordinary and act with SPIRIT to cherish our extraordinary tradition of greatness by doing the hard work of freedom that makes our country even more extraordinary.
THANKFULNESS spirited Americans are grateful to live in America and want to do our part to make it even more extraordinary.
